Munro Hamilton International Airport celebrated the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation to its passenger terminal building, with enhancements designed to elevate your travel experience from curb to gate. The momentum continues this winter with the introduction of passenger jet bridges and an upgraded international arrivals area, offering travellers even greater convenience and comfort.
Passenger Jet Bridges
A new era has begun at Hamilton International! The Airport’s first-ever passenger jet bridges are now operational, providing travellers with seamless, weather-protected access from the terminal to the aircraft. This exciting milestone marks a major step forward in modernizing our facilities and enhancing the guest experience.
Complementing the passenger jet bridges is Hamilton International’s newly modernized international arrivals area featuring aesthetic enhancements and new technologies to support more efficient border processing. Travellers arriving from international and transborder destinations will soon benefit from the installation of new primary inspection kiosks, enhanced wayfinding and a dedicated lane for NEXUS members, helping reduce wait times and improving the overall entry experience.

Porter Airlines has expanded its network at Hamilton International, introducing nonstop flights to popular sunny destinations in Mexico and Florida along with continued connectivity across Canada. Guests will enjoy greater convenience and flexibility this winter season with service to:
Passengers will travel in style with Porter’s elevated economy experience onboard the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. With a two-by-two configuration, there are no middle seats on any Porter flight. Fast, free Wi-Fi plus complimentary Canadian snacks and free beer and wine are included in every fare.
