Hamilton, Ontario (March 6, 2018): The Board of John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, TradePort International Corporation, today announced the appointment of Cathie Puckering as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Airport. Over the last five months, in her role as Acting President & CEO, Puckering has led Hamilton International through a period of significant growth and made advances with strategic planning, setting a refreshed course for the organization.

With the Airport on a strong ascent, the essential requirements for the President & CEO role included industry experience, an understanding of the business of airports, and a strategic vision for growing the Airport into a global gateway for affordable travel to and from Southern Ontario.

A seasoned airport executive, Puckering has held progressively senior roles at Hamilton International. She has championed new systems and structures, including financial modeling and performance measurement to improve results for the Airport and broader Vantage network. Her depth of experience and leadership qualities will position Hamilton International for continued growth.
