Construction on Highway 6 began on June 4, the roadway will remain open but restricted to a single lane; motorists are advised to expect delays if driving to the Airport.
Please be advised that construction on the Highway 6 Connector to Airport Road will start Tuesday, July 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily as part of the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario – Highway 6 rehabilitation project. The work is expected to take three (3) days to complete, weather permitting.
Currently traffic delays can be expected up to 30 minutes, travelers are asked to plan accordingly in advance of their flight.
