The Busiest Day of the Year

Friday, December 23^rd will be the busiest day of the year at Hamilton International. While travellers are excited to head home, visit family and friends or escape the cold and snow, the Team at the Airport is preparing for this year’s holiday traffic.

Airport ‘elves’ will be available every step of the way to help you get where you’re going but in addition to that, below you can find some tips for making the most out of your airport experience!

• Arrive at the Airport early and be sure to confirm your airline’s check-in cut-off times

• Make sure your carry-on baggage is prepped for screening: visit CATSA’s website for tips and screening regulations

• Confirm travel details in advance, such as baggage specifications and check the status of your flight with your airline, or track on flyhamilton.ca

• Don’t forget ID, including a valid passport
