On March 12, 2019, Norwegian Air announced it temporarily grounded all its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in accordance with several aviation authorities in Europe. The new service from Hamilton International Airport to Dublin International Airport is scheduled to commence on March 31, and Norwegian is working on re-allocating its fleet options to cover the route and minimize the inconvenience for affected passengers. An update will be provided in the next few days as Norwegian is working on providing a solution during this extraordinary situation.

The airline is committed to the safety and security of all of its customers as well as colleagues and it will do its best to minimize the inconvenience caused by this disruption.

It is too early to tell how the suspension of the 737 MAX will impact Norwegian Air in the forthcoming months, for now we will continue to find solutions to improve operations at Hamilton International Airport.
